The Cincinnati Bengals are a professional American football team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are members of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. The Bengals were founded in 1967 as an expansion team and began playing in the NFL in 1968.  

The Bengals have won two AFC Championships and have appeared in two Super Bowls. They lost Super Bowl XXIII to the San Francisco 49ers and Super Bowl LVI to the Los Angeles Rams.
